Curtain Players has named its cast for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? The Edward Albee play is the second production if the 2017-18 season, the community theatre’s 55th.

Director Michael Day has announced actors and assigned roles for Virginia Woolf following an open audition Sunday July 9: Gary Braunbeck (as George); Erin Haught (Honey); Samuel Bowen Partridge (Nick); and Jenn Feather Youngblood (Martha).

Albee's award-winning iconic play follows a middle-aged college professor and his wife who invite into their home an unwitting younger couple for drinks after a late-night faculty party. The resulting evening is a wicked jumble of mind games, attempted seductions, and shattering revelations.

Curtain Players presents Virginia Woolf October 20-November 5 at the 5691 Harlem Road playhouse. Due to strong language and adult situations, this show is recommended for mature audiences.

Tickets for all Curtain Players Season 55 productions, including Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, will go on sale online Tuesday August 1.
