Curtain Players has named its cast for Crimes of the Heart, the third production in the community theatre’s 2017-18 season.

Director Sarah Merkey has announced actors and assigned roles for Crimes of the Heart following an open audition Sunday September 10: Cory Baker (Doc); Sylvia Gonzalez (Babe); Jeff Kemeter (Barnette); Susie McGarry (Meg); Colleen Nerney (Chick); and Heather Schultz (Lenny).

In Beth Henley’s Pulitzer Prize-winning dark comedy, three eccentric Southern sisters come together after one shoots her husband, exposing their unique quirks, longings, and regrets as each comes to terms with the consequences of her own "crime of the heart."

Curtain Players presents Crimes of the Heart December 1-17 at the 5691 Harlem Road playhouse. Due to mature themes and situations, this show is recommended for audiences ages 13 and older.

Tickets for all Curtain Players Season 55 productions, including Crimes of the Heart, are sale online.
