Food Drive Planned During 'Trip'

Curtain Players will conduct a food drive to benefit Westerville Area Resource Ministry during performances of The Trip to Bountiful March 23-April 8.

The effort, which dates to 2009, is part of the theatre company’s Curtain Connects outreach program.

Patrons are asked to bring five non-perishable food, personal hygiene, or house cleaning (paper products, detergents) items with them to the Harlem Road playhouse for performances. The community theatre company conducted a similar food drive during Crimes of the Heart in December.

Curtain Players presents Horton Foote’s The Trip to Bountiful at 8 PM Fridays and Saturdays March 23-24, 30-31, and April 6-7, with 2 o’clock matinees Sundays March 25 and April 8. Tickets are on sale now. Click here.
