Curtain Players preview nights are going public for Season 56.

The theatre’s board at its June 26 meeting unanimously approved a plan to offer Thursday preview performances (final dress rehearsals) to the public with pay-what-you-want pricing and general admission (non-reserved) seating, providing another accessible and affordable option for Westerville, Columbus and central Ohio residents to enjoy theatre if a performance ticket price is out of reach.

The new initiative provide directors the opportunity for building audience engagement with productions, so necessary to a live theatre performance, before the next day’s official opening.

The theatre will use its Arts People system to offer advance purchase of general admission tickets to preview nights. Tickets, too, will be available at the box office.

More details regarding this initiative will be announced.
