'Wendy Darling' Recognized at OCTAFest 2018

Several members of the cast and crew of Curtain Players' Wendy Darling were honored at the 2018 Ohio Community Theatre Association (OCTA) State Conference over the Labor Day holiday weekend. Curtain Players presented an excerpt of the Ira Hauptman play, which audiences will remember from our 55th season.

Holly Wetmore-Kemeter was awarded Outstanding in Costume Design for her crocodile costume/puppet. Tasha Naneth was awarded Excellence in Costume Design for her Captain Hook costume. Elizabeth Harelik Falter was awarded Excellence in Acting for her performance as Wendy and Cody Schmid was awarded Merit in Acting for his performance as Peter Pan.

For nearly 65 years, OCTA has provided support to community theaters through workshops, the annual regional OCTAFests showcasing community theater productions, and a three-day annual conference each Labor Day Weekend.
