Second Virtual Production Slated for June 19

Local playwright Noah Martin’s The Tyrannical Tale of the Pupletine River will premiere as a virtual reader's theater event at 7 p.m., Friday, June 19, on the Curtain Players YouTube channel.

The synopsis: When Adam Adams and Kate Everett go exploring at recess, they come across a shimmering blue portal. The explorers go through the portal and are transported to the Pupletine Jungle where they begin an adventure, coming up against Laylah Kane, a boring adult who is destroying the jungle and replacing it with golf courses, deluxe luxury condos, and other horrors! Can the explorers stop her and save the forest?

This reader's theater event follows the successful Super Tale – A Super Powered Fairy Tale, also penned by Martin. Super Tale is still available to stream for free on YouTube. Click here to view the production.

The premiere link for The Tyrannical Tale of the Pupletine River will be shared on Curtain Players' website, social media, and e-news ahead of the event. You can also subscribe to the Curtain Players You Tube channel for updates.
