Accepting Award Nominations

The Curtain Players board is now accepting nominations for both the Volunteer of the Year and the Richard D. Near Award.

The Volunteer of the Year award recognizes individuals who have contributed significantly to the success of Curtain Players during the current season.

The Richard D. Near Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated significant and ongoing commitment to the success of the theatre over multiple years. It is the highest recognition that Curtain Players offers, and is not necessarily awarded each season.

If you would like to make a nomination for either award, please email Board President Michael Day with a brief narrative explaining your choice. Please be sure to indicate Volunteer of the Year or Richard D. Near award. Deadline for submissions is Saturday, May 10th.

Both awards will be presented at the End of Season celebration.
